Video/Audio Taping and Note Taking
Historian for Hire, LLC d/b/a Concord Walking Tours does not permit video or audio taping of any kind. Note taking is also strongly discouraged.
Wheelchairs
Historian for Hire, LLC d/b/a Concord Walking Tours does not provide wheelchairs for walking tour guests. However, don't hesitate to contact Concord Walking Tours if you need or use a wheelchair or have other needs.
For the April 19th/American Revolution Tour: the walk to Minute Man National Historical Park has both paved and crushed stone sidewalks. The crushed stone will become muddy after a rainy day. Another issue in winter is the snow is not as easily removed from the crushed stone sidewalks in the historic district on Monument Street. They stay icy longer.
For the Literary Luminaries Tour: Author's Ridge in Sleepy Hollow Cemetery is located on an esker with about a 30% incline. It can be quite a job for someone to push a wheelchair up the slope. And down.
While I have guided tours for individuals that have used wheelchairs for both tours, it might be best to have a conversation to ensure your needs are met so you can enjoy your visit to Concord safely.
Health Related
Historian for Hire, LLC d/b/a Concord Walking Tours monitors the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and Town of Concord websites for public health notices regarding COVID-19. If any guidelines are put in place, Concord Walking Tours will follow them and realy the guidance to guests via text and email if working cell phone numbers and email addresses have been provided.
